Olaf Grundmann (born August 7, 1968 in Iserlohn ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who has spent three seasons in the German ice hockey league with the Kölner Haien during his career .

Career

Grundmann began his career in 1986 at what was then ECD Iserlohn in the 1st Bundesliga . There he was only a substitute goalkeeper and moved to EHC 80 Nuremberg in 1991 , which he left after only one season and joined EC Hanover . At ECH he played 42 second division games. In the summer of 1993 he returned to Iserlohn to the ECD, which was now called the ECD Sauerland.

For the season 1994/95 he signed a contract with the Kölner Haien, with whom he became German champions in the same season . Grundmann stayed with the Haien until 1997 and played with the club in the European Hockey League in 1996/97 . This was followed by a season at SC Bietigheim-Bissingen and one at Gelsenkirchen EC before he ended his active ice hockey career in 1999. In 2005 Grundmann returned again and was active in eleven games for the then regional division EHC Dortmund .
