Other awards
Hettie and Günter Dyhrenfurth (Switzerland) received the last Olympic mountaineering prize, Prix olympique d'alpinisme, for their Himalayan expeditions in 1930 and 1934. Hermann Schreiber (Switzerland) was awarded the gold medal for a glider flight over the Alps.
