As gold medal winners of the Copa America, the Brazilian soccer players qualified directly for the Olympic Games. The men's team managed to secure the Olympic ticket at the South American qualifying tournament in February 2020.
Handball
The handball women secured the Olympic ticket for Tokyo via the Pan American Games 2019.

Canoe racing
At the Canoe World Championships in Szeged 2019, the Brazilian canoeists secured three quota places for the Olympic Games in the men's C1 and C2.
Canoe slalom
In the course of the Canoe Slalom World Championships, the Brazilian team achieved quota places in the men's K-1, the women's K-1 and the women's C-1.
athletics
At the World Championships in Doha 2019, both the men's 4 * 100m relay and the 4 * 400m mixed relay were able to move into the finals, which is equivalent to the start authorization for Tokyo.

Maria Iêda Guimarães qualified for the Olympic Games at the Pan American Games in Lima 2019.
