Olympic Village (Tokyo)

The Olympic Village is a housing estate in Tokyo . It was built to house the 2020 Olympic Games participants and is located on Harumi Island (Island) in Tokyo Bay . The facility is 44 hectares. The Olympic Village is said to house 18,000 people during the Olympic Games and approximately 8,000 people during the Paralympic Games . For reasons of sustainability, the beds for the athletes are made of cardboard. After being used as an Olympic village, temporary facilities are to be removed and the buildings used as living space.
