The Oscar Point is a small and rocky headland on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located 1.5 km northwest of Markham Island on the north shore of Terra Nova Bay .

It was discovered and named in February 1900 during the British Southern Cross Expedition (1898-1900) under the direction of the Norwegian polar explorer Carsten Egeberg Borchgrevink . At first he mistook it for an island. It is named after the Swedish King Oscar II.
