PGM-FI

PGM-FI , short for Programmed Fuel Injection is a digital engine control unit ( English Engine Control Unit , ECU) for gasoline engines with intake manifold injection that of Honda was brought in 1985 to the market. The system has an indirect air volume measurement by means of a piezo sensor , a map control, overrun fuel cut-off and a self-diagnosis system. The fuel is injected intermittently.
