Couples (sculpture)
The sculpture Couples in Bremen - Neue Vahr Nord on the central island of the roundabout at the eastern end of August-Bebel-Allee is included in the list of monuments and statues of the city of Bremen .
The sculpture from 2002 made of steel comes from the sculptor Hans-J. Müller . The artist made the profiles of couples on seven semi-arches. Man and woman opposite symbolize conversation and togetherness in the Vahr. The signal colors red-yellow-orange make the ensemble a sign that can be seen from afar in the street.
From Müller (* 1952) come from Bremen a. a. noch Mensch und Architektur (1988) in Burglesum , photo session in Schwachhausen (1988), Der Ausrufer (1988) in Vegesack , Gerhard-Rohlfs-Straße and Mann auf Pyramid (1992) at the BIAS of the University of Bremen .
