Palestinian People's Front

The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front ( Palestinian Popular Struggle Front ,جبهة النضال الشعبي الفلسطيني jabhat an-nidal asch-sha'biyya al-filastiniyya , PPSF or PSF) is a Palestinian party and a former militant group.

The PSF was founded in 1969 as a split from Fatah . It is more left-wing and has connections in particular to Syria and Lebanon. Your position on the peace process is divided. Samir Gosheh, who led the organization until his death in 2009, was Minister of Labor in the Arafat cabinet . The PSF is a member organization of the PLO . Its current Secretary General is Ahmed Majdalani .

The influence of the group on Palestinian politics and its popular support is comparatively low. In the 2006 elections she received 0.7% of the vote; thus it is not represented in the Palestinian Legislative Council.
