The Palais d'Antoniadis is an eclectic- style palace in Alexandria that was named after its builder Sir John Antoniadis . In 1860 he gave the order to build the building. Antoniadis was born in Limnos and obtained French citizenship while doing business in Marseilles. He was parish leader of the Greek community of Alexandria and British consul general. Queen Victoria knighted him.
