Chelsea FC (2015 to 2016)

For the 2015/16 season Djilobodji moved to Chelsea in the English Premier League . He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2019. Loan to Werder Bremen (2016)

In mid-January 2016 Djilobodji moved to the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season . There he was again a regular player in central defense. On February 13, 2016, he scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 1-1 home game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In the 1-1 draw against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on matchday 27, Djilobodji showed a "head-down gesture" after a duel with Mainz's Pablo de Blasis in his direction and was therefore suspended from two games and one by the DFB sports court Fined 15,000 euros. On the 34th matchday of the season he scored the 1-0 winning goal against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 88th minute of the game , which saved Werder Bremen from relegation and meant direct relegation.
