Partridge, Wilson & Company Ltd. was a British manufacturer of commercial vehicles and automobiles .
Company history
The Leicester-based company began producing commercial vehicles in 1934, especially delivery vans with electric motors . Passenger cars were also produced between 1935 and 1936 . The brand name was Wilson . Production ended in 1954.
Automobiles
The only car model was an electric car . The batteries were in the long front of the vehicle . Arthur Mulliner from Northampton made the streamlined coupé body . The maximum speed was specified as 43 km / h and the range at 64 km. The original price was 385 pounds . For comparison: the Morris Ten of about the same size cost £ 200. A total of about 40 copies were made, one of which still exists today.
