Pato Escala

Patricio "Pato" Escala Pierart (* in Talcahuano ) is a Chilean film producer .
Life
Escala studied Audiovisual Communication and Post-Production at the Duoc UC from 2002 to 2006 and has been teaching film production at the Universidad de las Américas since 2010 . He has been part of the Punkrobot film studio founded by Gabriel Osorio since 2008 , where he works as an executive producer . For the short animated film Bear Story , which was released in 2015 , Osorio and Escala received an Oscar in the category Best Animated Short Film in 2016 .
Escala lives and works in Santiago de Chile .
