Patricia Litten (born June 27, 1954 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss - German actress .

Life

Patricia Litten, whose father was a brother of the lawyer Hans Litten , completed her acting training in Zurich and Munich at the New Munich Drama School. For many years Litten was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Nürnberg , where she played the major theater roles in her field.

At the Städtische Bühnen in Nuremberg she appeared as Hermione in A Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare , as Fräulein Isenbarn in Der arme Vetter by Ernst Barlach , and in the title role of Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller . She also played in Phaedra by Racine and in Die Nibelungen by Friedrich Hebbel .

Patricia Litten has been working as a freelancer since 1998. Since then she has appeared regularly on various stages and in film and television.
