Paul Andres
Paul Andres (born August 17, 1882 in Zofingen , † March 17, 1974 in Bern ; reformed , resident in Bargen ) was a Swiss doctor and politician ( LdU ).
Life
Paul Andres was born on August 17, 1882, the son of Zofingen's parish priest Hans Jakob Andres and Rosa, born Jäggi. After completing schools in Münchenbuchsee and high school in Bern, he studied medicine in Bern . In 1907 he obtained the state examination and doctorate in Basel . He then worked as an assistant doctor and received further training in Liestal , Munich , Breslau and Vienna . In 1909, Andres opened a practice as a general practitioner in Bern.
In addition, Andres represented the LdU in the National Council from 1940 to 1943 , where he was unable to set any accents. Paul Andres, who married Anna, August Haegler's daughter in 1908, died on March 17, 1974 at the age of 91 in Bern.
