Paul Giese (born January 18, 1875 in Marienfließ , Saatzig district , † August 6, 1947 in Bruchmühle near Berlin ) was a German politician ( DNVP ).

Life and work

Giese was born the son of a commercial gardener. After attending elementary school, he completed an apprenticeship as a gardener in his parents' business, which he completed with the journeyman's examination. He then went through further training in large tree nurseries as well as in various commercial and landscape gardeners. He later worked as a manager of large trading and estate operations, including as an estate gardener in Charlottenburg . In addition, he acted as chairman of the Brandenburg agricultural workers 'union and as deputy chairman of the Reich agricultural workers' union . At that time he was also an employee of the magazine Der Reichslandarbeiterbund .

MP

Giese was a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1921 to 1924 . In the Reichstag election in December 1924 he was elected to the German Reichstag , to which he belonged until 1928.
