Persenet
(Per senet)
Pr snt

Persenet is the name of an ancient Egyptian queen of the 4th dynasty . The reading of her name is uncertain, as the only mention is damaged. She bears both the title of a natural king's daughter and that of the king's wife , but her family relationships cannot be determined with certainty. Due to the location of her tomb, she is generally considered the wife of Pharaoh Chephren . The assumption that the vizier Nikaure would be the son of both is also based only on the immediate vicinity of his grave to that of Persenet.

tomb

Persenet owns the rock grave LG 88 in the central cemetery in Giza . It consists of an elongated main room, which is separated on its west side by two pillars from a smaller room in which the sarcophagus shaft is located. Apart from the names and titles of the deceased, the grave is completely undecorated. The remains of a burial could not be found.
