Peter Lando

Peter Louis Lando (born before 1989) is a production designer .

Life

Lando began his career on the film staff in 1989 as assistant in the prop in the comedy We Are Not Angels starring Robert De Niro and Sean Penn . From the mid-1990s he worked as a set designer on film productions, including major Hollywood productions such as The 6th Day and Riddick: Chronicles of a Warrior .

For the superhero movie The Dark Knight , he was together with art director Nathan Crowley in 2009 for the Oscar in the category Best Art Direction and the BAFTA Film Award in the category Design Best nominated, but both awards went this year to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button . In contrast , he was able to win the “Excellence in Production Design Award” from the Art Directors Guild for The Dark Knight .
