Peter Laskowski (born September 15, 1946 in Eckernförde , † December 7, 2002 in Gotha ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After the fall of the Berlin Wall , Laskowski, who had been chairman of the parliamentary group for many years in Dörnigheim and later in the Maintaler city ​​council , went to Gotha and became first city councilor . A short time later he became state chairman of the SPD Thuringia . He held this office from August 1990 to January 1991.

In January 1995 he ran for the first direct mayor election in Maintal, but was defeated by the CDU candidate Erhard Rohrbach with 39.4% to 52.1% of the valid votes.
