Peter Westbrook

Peter Westbrook (born April 16, 1952 in St. Louis ) is an American fencer .

In total, Peter Westbrook took part in five Summer Olympic Games . He achieved the greatest success of his sporting career at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles when he won the bronze medal in the saber competition . He also won eleven medals at Pan American Games , including three gold, and was American saber fencing champion 13 times.

After retiring from active sports, he founded the Peter Westbrook Foundation in 1991 . It is supposed to help young people from five New York boroughs to realize their dreams with the help of fencing.
