Peter van Agtmaal (born January 25, 1982 in Huijbergen ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

Career

Peter van Agtmaal won the Dutch road racing championship as a junior driver in 2000. He received his first contract with an international cycling team in 2002 with Bert Story-Piels . In his first year there, he won the two one-day races Omloop van het Waasland and Memorial Philippe Van Coningsloo . Then he switched to the AXA Cycling Team . Here he won two stages in the Tour du Faso in 2003 , the next year one in the Tour du Sénégal and the PWZ Zuidenveld Tour and in 2005 he won three parts of the Tour d'Indonesia . Since 2006 Peter van Agtmaal drove for the Dutch Continental Team P3 Transfer-Fondas . In the first season he was once successful at the Tour de Gironde and in 2007 he won a stage and the overall ranking of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya in Cameroon . In 2008 he won a stage of the Tour of Romania , in 2009 the overall ranking and a stage of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya and in 2010 a stage of the Tour du Faso .
