Petur Hliddal

Petur Hliddal (* 1945 ) is a sound engineer .

Life

Hliddal began his television career in 1972. His feature film debut was Arthur Barron's drama Jeremy the following year . As a result, he was involved in numerous film and television films as well as some documentaries . From 1985 onwards, he worked extensively on Tim Burton films , including Edward Scissorhands , Batman's Return, and Batman Forever . For the latter film, he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Sound in 1996. For his work on Martin Scorsese's film biography Aviator , he was nominated for the second time for an Oscar and for the first time for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Sound in 2005. He received the Daytime Emmy in 1986 for his work on television ; In 2011 he was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy.
