Physalis minimaculata is a plant type from the genus of jujubes ( Physalis ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

description

Physalis minimaculata is an annual , branched plant with hairy branches. The leaves are egg-shaped, the base is sloping, the edge irregularly serrated with large teeth. The largest leaves are 3 to 5 mm long and 2 to 2.5 cm wide. The leaf stalks are 2 to 4 mm long.

The flowers are on 4 to 6 mm long pedicels . The calyx is 3.5 to 4 mm long at the time of flowering and measures 3 to 3.5 mm in diameter at the base of the calyx tips. The calyx lobes are 1.5 to 2 mm long. The crown is only very lightly spotted, is wheel-shaped to curved back, and measures 7 to 10 mm in length and 8 to 9 mm in diameter.

The calyx is slightly ten-angular on the fruit and about 18 mm long and 12 mm wide.

Occurrence

The species is common in Mexico .
