Pikkuli is a Finnish animated series that has been produced since 2015 . The plot is based on the book by Metsämarja Aittokoski.

Pikkuli is the youngest of three bird siblings. He himself is very ambitious, curious and extravagant and discovers and gets to know new things every day. His sister is talented and his brother is the reckless guy. Unlike the other birds, it does not always fly elegantly through the air, but also moves in a different way. He is always supported by his family and his best friend, the wading bird Honkkeli.

Production and publication

The series has been produced in Finland since 2015. Metsämarja Aittokoski directed and wrote the script for the 26 episodes so far . The German premiere took place on August 9, 2016 on KiKA .
