Prelate Trail (East Westphalia)
The Prälatenweg is a 32-kilometer hiking and biking trail that connects the three monasteries Herzebrock , Clarholz and Marienfeld in the East Westphalian district of Gütersloh .
The route marked with the “Prälatenweg” logo (blue miter ) runs from Herzebrock through the Putzwald to Clarholz , from there through Heerde , over the Ems and through the Hohe Heide to Marienfeld , from there through the Hohe Heide and over the Ems Quenhorn and Groppel back to Herzebrock.
The cycle route of the Prälatenweg partly follows the routes of the Emsradweg , the R18 and the R19.
