description

Some price tags contain additional information such as the article description, barcode for scanning at the checkout or additional information such as a product or batch number. The condition for the exchange of textiles is that the price tag remains on the item of clothing, in addition to the presence of a receipt .

Legal issues

In Germany the information is in the pricing compared to the consumers through price regulation regulated (PAngV). According to this, goods that are visibly displayed in shop windows , showcases , inside or outside the sales area on sales stands or in any other way, and goods that can be taken directly by the consumer, are to be marked with price tags or labeling of the goods ( Section 4 (1) PangV ). Otherwise, they are to be identified by the fact that the containers or shelves in which the goods are located are labeled or that price lists are attached or made available for inspection (Section 4 (2) PangV).
