Priston Tale is a free MMORPG for Windows developed by Triglow Pictures . It takes place in a fictional fantasy world in which you fight together with other players against creatures of all kinds.

General information

Content

  • Bless Castle

  • Survive or Die

Another specialty in Pristontale is Survive or Die (SoD). Here one or more players can enter different rooms after paying an entrance fee. To take part in a competition in which increasingly difficult opponents come on a turn-based basis. Whoever leads on points can advance one round and finally win after 8 rounds. You can collect SoD points for your clan and thus become the leading SoD clan.

The leading SoD clan receives a certain percentage of the SoD fees received at the end of the month.

Existing races in the game

In the world of Priston Tale, there are two different races who live in different cities . Four character groups are available to each race. There is no real gender separation, so some character groups are only male, others only female. A free customization of the character's appearance is also not possible, you can only choose between three predefined skins when creating.

Tempskron

The homeland of this people is called Ricarten Town . Over time, this city grew to become the country's central exchange and trade zone. The following character classes belong to this race:

  • Archer - Archer: These are specialists when it comes to the enemy from a distance with arrows and bow to attack. As a result, they come into contact with the enemy less often, which considerably reduces the danger posed by the enemy.
  • Fighter - Warriors: These are primarily characterized by their strength and health, which means that direct contact with the enemy is normal. They are best at mastering the fight with a wide variety of axes that cause considerable damage to the enemy.
  • Mechanician - Mechanic: These are characterized by good defense skills. As a result, they can take a lot more than some others, which gives them a great advantage in fighting multiple opponents at the same time.
  • Pikeman - Lance Fighters : These have high health and strength values, which means they can keep up with the fighter . They master lances, which is reserved for this class. With them they inflict optimal damage on the opponent.

Morion

The homeland of this people is called Pillai Town . The special thing about this city is that it hovers above the earth and can only be reached with a teleporter . The race was not added until a later version of the game.

  • Knight : These are characterized by the combination of strength and magic. Generally they are very balanced in terms of their ability. They find it easiest to use swords .
  • Atalanta - Amazon: These are probably most similar to the Amazons . With spears they can handle best. However, if they are attacked by several opponents at the same time, they get into trouble very quickly.
  • Priestess : These have enormous psychic powers. Both her healing powers and the optimal use of her psychic powers against all possible opponents are of great use in a fight.
  • Magician : These also have enormous psychic powers, which are used much more offensively than those of the priestess .

Officially, Priston Tale has two successors. On the one hand there is Priston Tale 2 , which provides a completely new story and engine, and on the other hand it is Lax Lore , which is based on the first Priston Tale .

Priston Tale 2

Priston Tale 2: The Second Enigma is one of the two official successors to Priston Tale . It is based on a completely new story and is not very similar to its predecessor. In addition to the Unreal Engine in version 2.5, features such as OpenAL are also used. Priston Tale 2 has been available as an open beta in the Korean version since March 2008 and even now in the free German version.

Lax Lore

Laxe Lore is one of the two official successors to Priston Tale . It is based 100% on the predecessor and offers the same character classes. It still gives the impression that it is a completely new game, since the starting points in the game are new and the game shows very little of the old materials. Cards that were played as a beginner card at Priston Tale, for example, are cards for advanced players in Lax Lore - the monster textures and monster names are identical. Laxe Lore was freely accessible for a few months in the alpha phase. The game is currently in a closed beta. It is not yet known when the game will be public again for everyone.
