Przemysław Stańczyk

Przemysław Stańczyk (born February 12, 1985 in Szczecin ) is a Polish swimmer .

Career

He studies sports science at the University of Szczecin. In 2004 he took part in the Olympic Games. At the 2007 Swimming World Championships in Melbourne , he won the gold medal in 800 m freestyle after the original winner Oussama Mellouli was subsequently disqualified. He set a new Polish record with 7: 47.91.
