The Pumuckl fountain in Munich is dedicated to the fairy tale character of the same name by Ellis Kaut . It was created in 1985 by the Starnberg sculptor Claus Nageler , donated by Ellis Kaut. It is located in the western Luitpoldpark on the edge of a children's playground at the confluence of Burgunderstrasse and Brunnerstrasse.

The fountain consists of a high stone stele in the shape of a tree stump. It is completed by a bronze figure showing the dancing goblin. After irregular time intervals, little Pumuckl spits out a three to four meter long jet of water. Around the stele, three smaller steles are evenly arranged in a circle that serve as water dispensers.
