List of doll museums

A doll museum is a museum that specializes in historical toy dolls . The following list provides an overview of doll collections around the world, including significant holdings in more general museums.

A more special form is the dollhouse museum with a focus on dollhouses as such. The puppet theater museum (marionette museum ) is a special form, which focuses on theater , not toy puppets .

Doll collections can often be found in toy museums , sometimes also in folklore or ethnographic museums or in handicraft collections (arts and crafts, applied arts) depending on the genre.
