Put Da Needle To Da Records
Put Da Needle To Da Records (PDNTDR) was a German hip-hop - label from Aachen . It was founded in 1996 by Peter Sreckovic to enable the release of his album Ich und MC Bibabutz . In the following years, with new discoveries such as Creutzfeld & Jakob , the Ruhrpott AG or Kool Savas, it developed into one of the most famous underground labels in German-speaking hip-hop.
After negotiations with financially strong partners failed, the label got into financial difficulties, whereupon most of the artists left the label in a dispute. Kool Savas recorded a track against Peter together with Germany vom Klan , in which Sreckovic was accused of fraud.
Notation
Both on the covers and on their website the name was written in block letters. Sometimes the abbreviation PUT DA NEEDLE was chosen. Music magazines and websites, however, often chose the spelling Put Da Needle To Da Records
