Quickline is a Swiss telecommunications company and, together with 24 independent, regionally anchored partners, forms the Quickline network.

Quickline develops products for Internet, TV / radio, landline and mobile telephony and supports its partners in local market development. Together they ensure customer service on site.

Quickline Holding AG comprises Quickline AG with multimedia products for private customers and SMEs as well as services for network partners, Quickline Net AG (purchase or participation and operation of cable networks), NeXora AG (innovation lab) and a participation in the Digital Cable Group ( Processing and delivery of the TV signal).

Company history

Quickline was originally a product brand for fast Internet from LAN Services AG (founded in 1993). This was taken over by Besonet AG in 2005 and renamed Finecom Telecommunications AG, from which today's Quickline AG emerged in 2014. Besonet itself was renamed Quickline Holding AG in 2013.

Today's Quickline association was created in 1999 through a merger of various regional cable network operators as an interest group. The network is growing continuously, reaching over 100,000 households shortly after the turn of the millennium and around 400,000 households around 20 years after it was founded. The distribution area today extends from north-western Switzerland to the Valais and from the Mittelland via central Switzerland to Graubünden and eastern Switzerland. The network partners jointly sell the Quickline products Internet, landline and mobile telephony as well as TV / radio for private customers and SMEs.

In 2011 the first Quickline shop opened in Burgdorf. There are now around two dozen of its own shops and almost 240 other sales outlets.

With the founding of the subsidiary Quickline Net AG in 2012, Quickline AG becomes the operator of its own cable networks in the Basel and Münchenbuchsee regions. In 2018, NeXora AG was created as a subsidiary and innovation lab of Quickline AG.,
