The Roman plaque is an award from the city of Frankfurt am Main , which is given in recognition of their services to people who do voluntary work for the city.

The Roman plaque is awarded in three stages, which depend on the duration of the voluntary work of the person to be awarded. The Roman plaque is awarded in bronze for ten years of engagement, in silver for fifteen years of activity, and in gold for twenty years of activity . In addition to the silver and gold badge, there is a small miniature that can be worn on a blouse or lapel. The silver version is presented on a red and white band analogous to the Frankfurt (and at the same time Hessian ) colors and is slightly smaller than the golden version , which is to be used solo. A buckle is issued for aid organizations instead of being infected .

The front of the Roman plaque shows the Roman and the inscription "For special merit", on the back the Frankfurt city eagle and the inscription "City of Frankfurt am Main".
