Rüdiger Inhetveen

Rüdiger Inhetveen (* 1943 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

After studying mathematics and philosophy in Erlangen , Inhetveen received his doctorate in mathematics in 1971. The topic of his dissertation was "On the theory of primary decomposable groups". He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Together with Paul Lorenzen and Peter Janich , he wrote fundamental contributions to the philosophical current of methodical constructivism . In his work he deals, among other things, with topics relating to the methodical construction of geometry (form- theoretical justification) and mathematics in general, computer science and protophysics of the time. He is also the author of a modern logic book, the latest German-language book on the subject of dialogic logic .
