Rudiger Schubert

Rüdiger Schubert (born April 28, 1949 in Jena ) is a German SPD politician and was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 1998 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1967 with a certificate as a cattle breeder, he did a year-long theater internship in Weimar and Magdeburg . From 1968 to 1990 he worked as an employee or head of the district cabinet for cultural work in Oschersleben . Between 1973 and 1977 he completed a distance learning course in cultural studies . From 1990 to 1994 he was head of the cultural and social affairs department in the district of Oschersleben. Schubert is married and has two children.

Party and mandate

Schubert was a member of the New Forum and later a founding member and SPD district chairman of the Social Democratic Party in the GDR (SDP) in Oschersleben. He was also a member of the SPD district committee in Magdeburg .

From 1990 to 1992 Schubert was a member of the district council of Oschersleben. From 1994 to 1998 he was a member of the state parliament. He represented the constituency of Oschersleben and was a member of the Committee on Culture and Media and the Committee on Petitions.
