Rüdiger von Tresckow

Rüdiger Hermann Erich Henning von Tresckow (born June 17, 1928 in Potsdam ; † October 2, 2012 in Kronberg im Taunus ) was a German bank manager . For many years he was the owner of the private bank BHF-Bank .

Life

origin

Von Tresckow was born in 1928 as the son of the officer and later resistance fighter Henning von Tresckow (1901–1944) and his wife Erika (1904–1974), b. von Falkenhayn , born in Potsdam. His maternal grandfather was the late Prussian infantry general, Prussian war minister and chief of the general staff Erich von Falkenhayn .

Study and job

He studied at the University for Work, Politics and Economics in Wilhelmshaven. During his student days he was chairman of the AStA .

Tresckow was then director of the Frankfurter Bank and head of the foreign department there. In 1968 he became a deputy member of the board. From 1972 to 1989 he was the business owner ( personally liable partner ), after which he was a member of the supervisory board of the Berliner Handels- und Frankfurter Bank (BHF-Bank) in Frankfurt am Main / Berlin until 1992 .

From 1991 to 1994 Tresckow acted as honorary first state commissioner at the stock exchanges in Frankfurt am Main .

Most recently he worked as a financial advisor. He lived in Oberursel (Taunus) .

He was also u. a. Member of the supervisory boards of Palm Tresckow PrivatConsult Aktiengesellschaft, Universal-Leasing-GmbH, Augsburger Aktienbank AG , Lufthansa CityLine GmbH , Schenker & Co GmbH , Deutsche Schiffahrtsbank AG and Deutsche Nickel Aktiengesellschaft (deputy chairman).

family

He was married to a von Arnim from 1957 to 1993 and had two children.

A brother-in-law was the Darmstadt historian Karl Otmar Freiherr von Aretin (1923-2014).
