history
The branch of the Rabensteiner zu Döhlau family appeared as a ministerial in the Franconian region in the wake of the Weida bailiffs . Döhlau in the Bavarian Vogtland , also called Regnitzland , is now a municipality in the Hof district in Upper Franconia . The Rabensteiners sat at Döhlau Castle from 1390 until they died out in 1643. Two grave slabs of family members from 1618 and 1620 are in the Döhlau parish church , and another is attached to the castle.
