Rachel Specter

Rachel Specter (born April 9, 1980 in Tampa , Florida ) is an American actress and screenwriter .

life and career

Rachel Specter was born in Tampa, Florida in 1980. Her mother teaches at a Jewish day school in Hillel and her father is the dean of the University of South Florida College of Medicine . Rachel Specter graduated from the University of Florida .

In 2003 Specter starred for the first time in a series. She stood in front of the camera for an episode in the soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht . This was followed by other appearances in Entourage , Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile and Gilmore Girls before she got a film role. She received this as a date from DW Moffett's role in the drama Special Ed . In 2005 she also starred for Today You Die , with Steven Seagal , and direct-to-DVD production Edison , with Kevin Spacey . Specter also got small roles in Lonely Hearts Killers , Prom Night and House Bunny . She appeared in supporting roles in Alone in the Dark II and In the Deep Valley of the Superbabes . In addition to her engagements in films, she appeared in the television series How I Met Your Mother , Entourage and CSI: NY in a guest role.

In addition to acting, she was seen in commercials for the US deodorant manufacturer RGX, which made her better known. Specter has been married to stand-up comedian Dan Levy since July 2010 .
