Radu Crutzescu

Radu Crutzescu (* 1892 in Bucharest ; † 1947 ) was a Romanian diplomat .

Career

He graduated in 1913 studying law at the University of Paris from practicing the profession of lawyer in, entered the Foreign Service in 1918 and was a member of the Preparatory Commission for the Paris Peace Conference, 1919 . In 1920 he was envoy in Warsaw . From 1921 to 1924 he was envoy in Brussels . From 1924 to 1927 he was ambassador to Prague . From 1931 to 1935 he headed the personnel department in Bucharest.

From 1936 to 1938 he was envoy in Sofia .

From March 31, 1939 to June 1, 1940 he was ambassador to Berlin .

From June 1, 1940 to 1941, he was envoy in Ankara . From 1943 to 1944 he was envoy in Copenhagen .
