Railaco Craic ( Railaco Kraik , "Unter-Railaco" ) is an East Timorese Suco in the Railaco administrative office ( municipality of Ermera ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Railaco Craic had an area of 18.93 km². Now there are 14.23 km². The Suco is located in the center and south of the Railaco administrative office. To the west is the Suco Fatuquero , east of the Suco Railaco Leten and to the north, across the Balele River , the Suco Taraco . To the south, Railaco Craic borders on the Aileu administrative office ( municipality of Aileu ) with its Suco Seloi Craic . The Balele is a source river of the Rio Comoro . Likewise the Buamara , which crosses the Suco Railaco Craic in the center from east to west. The Maurotieramata rises in the south , which belongs to the Lóis system and flows into the neighboring Suco Fatuquero. The Aileu , the southern border river to Seloi Craic, also belongs to the Lóis . Between Buamara and Maurotieramata, the rural road runs parallel to the rivers and connects the municipal capital Gleno with the city of Aileu in the east.
The town of Cucoa ( Cocoa , Kokoa ) is located on the country road on the western border with Fatuquero . The three villages Sobrequeque ( Suwerkeke ), Railakopu and Riamori lie between the Buamara and Balele rivers . There are primary schools in Cucoa ( Escola Primaria No. 245 Railaco Craic ) and Sobrequeque.
In the Suco there are the four Aldeias Cucoa , Fatucado , Riamori and Sobrequeque .
Residents
1435 inhabitants (2015) live in the Suco, of which 779 are men and 656 women. The population density is 100.9 inhabitants / km². There are 193 households in the Suco. Almost 71% of the population name Tetum Prasa as their mother tongue. Almost 28% speak Mambai and a small minority speak Atauro .
politics
In the 2004/2005 elections , João de Jesus Monteiro was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Domingos Soares .
