Raimund Lorenzer

Raimund Lorenzer (born August 1, 1891 in Regensburg ; † June 10, 1966 in Geldern ) was a German doctor and writer .

Life

Born as the son of a construction technician, Lorenzer studied medicine in Munich . During his studies he became a member of the Avaria Association in 1910 and of the Danubia Munich fraternity in 1922 . In 1922 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD .

He worked as a specialist in Munich and became a member of the NSDAP in 1932 (membership number: 965.119). He was friends with the sculptor Bernhard Bleeker , who made a portrait head of him in 1933, which could be seen at several art exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Warsaw and Krakow between 1933 and 1950.

He was married to the American Norma Lorenzer and was on Karl Valentin's emergency contact list . He spent his retirement in Wolfratshausen .
