Rainer Malkowski (born December 26, 1939 in Berlin ; † September 1, 2003 in Brannenburg ) was a German poet , above all a lyric poet .

Life

Malkowski grew up in Berlin-Tempelhof, attended the Askanische Oberschule there and initially worked for Berlin newspaper publishers. Malkowski was managing director of an advertising agency until 1972, after which he went public as a poet.
