Rainer Trübsbach

Rainer Trübsbach (born September 25, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German historian .

Rainer Trübsbach has lived in Bayreuth since 1948 , where he graduated from the Markgräfin-Wilhelmine-Gymnasium in 1963. After completing his military service, he studied German , history and social studies in Erlangen . From 1973 to 2007 Trübsbach taught these subjects at the Bayreuth High School Christian-Ernestinum . During his teaching career doctorate he at Michael striker in Erlangen Dr. phil. with the topic “Economic and social history of Bayreuth in the 18th century. On the material culture of handicrafts in the period of pre- and early industrialization ” .

Rainer Trübsbach has been married since 1967 and has two grown children. In February 2015 he was awarded the Culture Prize of the City of Bayreuth.
