Raja Gosnell

Raja Raymond Gosnell (born December 9, 1958 in Los Angeles ) is an American film editor and film director .

Life

Raja Gosnell began his film career in 1978 as a driver for the production company Lion's Gate Films and director Robert Altman , who promoted him, and soon used him as an assistant editor, for example with Quintett . He learned his craft in the field of film editing from the editor William H. Reynolds , who received an Oscar in 1966 for his work on Meine Lieder - mein Träume and in 1974 for The Clou .

Gosnell's first independent work as editor was the 1982 short film The Silence . In 1983 he began working with screenwriter and director Chris Columbus .
