Ranger Ridge is a mountain ridge in the north of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . On the Barff Peninsula , it extends from Lurcock Lake in a north-westerly direction to Barff Point .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2014. It is named after the rangers from the Norwegian Nature Conservation Authority ( Statens naturoppsyn , SNO), who were involved in the extermination of the introduced reindeer on the Barff Peninsula in 2014.
