Raymond "Bud" Somerville (born January 27, 1937 in Superior , Wisconsin ) is an American curler .

Somerville made his international debut at the predecessor of the World Cup, the Scotch Cup in Perth in 1965 , where he won the gold medal.

Somerville played as the third of the US team in the XV. 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and as a skip at the XVI. 1992 Winter Olympics in Nagano in curling. The team finished fifth in 1988 and in 1992 the team won the Olympic bronze medal after a 9-2 victory in the third place match against Canada for Skip Kevin Martin . Since curling was still a demonstration sport at the time, the medal has no official status.

In the Curling World Championship for Men 1995 he had his last international appearance. In his son Tim's team he took fourth place as an alternate.

In 1984, Raymond Somerville was first named to the United States Curling Hall of Fame .
