history

In 1996 a teletext information system was launched in the cities of Blankenburg, Quedlinburg and Oberhasserode. In October 1997, the first programs were broadcast under the name TV Harz . With the renaming in 2000 to RFH (regional television Harz), the broadcasting area is also extended to the urban area of ​​Aschersleben. In 2002 the approval for regular broadcasting (broadcasting license) was granted, and in 2008 it was extended for a further five years. In 2006 the transmission area will also be extended to Lower Saxony and Goslar will be connected.
