Reimond Orángel Manco Albarracín (born August 23, 1990 in Lima ) is a Peruvian football player who, in addition to this, also has the nationality of Venezuela .

Career

Life

Manco comes from a poor background and grew up in the slums of Lima. At the age of two he went to Venezuela with his parents. There the family hoped to counteract their financial problems. When they were eight they returned to their old homeland. Between the ages of 13 and 15, he lived in Venezuela a second time. For this reason he has both Peruvian and Venezuelan citizenship.

Alianza Lima

As a child, Manco played for the Academia Cantolao. With this he took part in national and international soccer tournaments. In Europe he was able to win the Gothia Cup at an early age. His talent did not go unnoticed by the scouts of the Peruvian first division teams. So he came to the youth department of Alianza Lima .

At the age of 16 Manco was already part of the professional squad of Alianza Lima. He previously played for the club's U-17 and U-20. On April 7, 2007, he made his debut for the club in the 2-0 win against Alianza Atlético when he came on in the 86th minute. On August 30 of the same year, the Chilean Miguel Ángel Arrué became the team's new coach. He thought a lot of the young star and let him appear as team captain shortly after taking office in a friendly match. In the league game, Arrué usually used the young player as a joker and carefully built him up. Against Club Deportivo Universidad San Martín de Porres on October 31, 2007 Manco was the first time in a competitive game in the starting line-up. Due to his many tempo dribbles, he caused a lot of confusion in the opposing back team, especially when substituting, and thus helped his own team to important victories. His talent did not go unnoticed by the spies of international top teams and Manco has been associated with clubs such as Werder Bremen , Real Madrid , Inter Milan , Manchester United , Chelsea London , PSV Eindhoven , Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona .

PSV Eindhoven

In summer 2008 he then decided to move to the Netherlands and signed with PSV Eindhoven . This transfer was announced on February 10, 2008, which tied the offensive talent to the club for five years. On August 6, 2008, in the preparation game for the new season, Manco scored against Newcastle United his first goal for his new team. In the league, the offensive player was only used irregularly. In order to guarantee him more match practice, PSV officials decided to loan the young player to league competitor Willem II Tilburg during the winter break of 2008/09 . But even here he could only record two missions. After returning to PSV, he was seriously injured in a preparation game. When he had recovered from his knee injury, he was loaned to the Juan Aurich club in Peru during the 2009/10 winter break . The loan turned into a regular transfer in summer 2010.

Long career

At Juan Aurich he became a regular again before moving to CF Atlante in Mexico in early 2011 . Here he terminated his contract after a few months. He was without a club for a few months before joining Juan Aurich again in October 2011. He won the 2011 championship with his team , but only contributed five games. In early 2012, he joined league rival León de Huánuco . In mid-2012, the Qatari club al-Wakrah SC signed him, but loaned him to UTC Cajamarca in early 2013 , which eventually signed him. At the beginning of 2015 he moved again to León de Huánuco, but moved on to Alianza Lima in mid-2015. At the beginning of 2017 he was hired by Zamora FC in Venezuela, but returned to Peru after just six missions. At Unión Comercio he secured a regular place in midfield and held it until the end of 2018. At the beginning of 2019, he moved within the league to Real Garcilaso , and later in the year to the Sport Boys . He has been playing for Escuela Municipal Deportivo Binacional since the beginning of 2020 .

National team

Since Manco also has the Venezuelan passport, he played for the U-15s of Venezuela, at that time still living in Venezuela. For this reason, he did not already wear the jersey for the U-17 World Cup in Peru in 2005 for his country of birth.

U-17 national team

In 2007 Manco was appointed by national coach Juan José Oré in the U-17 squad of the Peruvian national team for the U-17 South American Championship . This took place from March 4th to 25th 2007 in Ecuador . In the first game, the team met the selection of Brazil, which they defeated 2-1 with goals from Manco and Christian La Torre . With another win, a draw and a defeat, the team secured victory in the group stage of the tournament. In the final round, which was also decided in league mode, you met five other competitors. Peru finished this in fourth place behind Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. In the last game against Argentina Manco was absent due to a yellow card suspension. With a 1-1 draw, the team secured fourth place and thus the first qualification for the 2007 U-17 World Cup in 30 years. From the CONMEBOL Manco was awarded as the best player of the tournament.

Five months after the South American Championship, the U-17 World Championship in South Korea was on the agenda from August 18 to September 9, 2007 . Unbeaten and with good performances from Manco they reached the knockout round of the tournament. In the round of 16, the Peruvians prevailed 5-4 on penalties against Tajikistan. But in the quarterfinals they were eliminated against the Ghana team. In the official tournament report Manco is highlighted as a strong dribble, agile attacker with good passing play and good technique .

A national team

On February 6, 2008, Manco made his debut for the senior national team of Peru . In the game against Bolivia he was substituted on in the 62nd minute. He was used in a total of six friendly matches until 2013.
