René Eller

René Eller is a Dutch director of commercials , a feature film and music videos .

Life

In 1987 René Eller began his career in the advertising industry as an outfitter for castings before going behind the camera in 1990. With spots for Aiwa , Coca-Cola , Heineken , Grolsch , Campari , Polaroid , ASICS , Nissan and Menzis , some of which he created for Propaganda Films (USA), he managed to make an international name for himself as a commercial filmmaker.

Eller is also responsible for a number of music films by well-known artists, including Herbert Grönemeyer , Boy George , Echt , Die Toten Hosen and Zinoba . The video clip When I Wanted , which he created for the band Selig , was awarded the ECHO in 1995.

In 1997 Eller founded the "Miauw Projekt" and bought an old church in the center of Amsterdam, which he converted into a multi-storey clubhouse with 18 apartments and a few conference rooms. Business people from the creative industry from all over the world now meet there. The “For Members Only Club” with the name Baby has now established itself as a communication center for journalists, models, copywriters and directors. Eller is also the editor of a magazine that is also called "Baby" and is based in Amsterdam and Berlin.
