Richard Curtis
Richard Whalley Anthony Curtis , CBE (born November 8, 1956 in Wellington , New Zealand) is a screenwriter of numerous British comedy series such as Mr. Bean , The Vicar Of Dibley and Blackadder . Films he wrote the script for include Four Weddings and a Funeral , Notting Hill , Bridget Jones - Chocolate For Breakfast and Bridget Jones - On The Edge Of Madness , The Girl in the Café, and Indeed ... Love . He also directed the latter for the first time.
Curtis is also a business partner of Bob Geldof and co-organizer of the Live 8 concert campaign. Together with Lenny Henry , he founded the Comic Relief charity in 1985 .
