Rina Aiuchi ( Japanese 愛内里菜 , Aiuchi Rina , real name: 垣内里佳子 * 31 July 1980 in Osaka ) is a Japanese J-Pop - singer and designer for veterinary products. She was under contract with GIZA studio , a label of the Japanese record company Being Inc.

Life

Aiuchi started taking piano lessons at the age of five. She made her debut on March 23, 2000 with the single Close To Your Heart . Her breakthrough came with the single Koi wa thrill, shock, suspense , as the title music of the anime series Detective Conan ( 名 探 偵 コ ナ ン , Meitantei Conan ), one of the most popular anime in Japan and now also in Germany . For the German translation of the series , the song was sung by Eva Runkel under the title "Love can not wait" .

In 2003 she took part in the biggest singing competition " Kōhaku " ( 紅白 歌 合 戦 , Kōhaku Uta-Gassen , German: Red and White Song Battle ) held by the Japanese radio station NHK every year on New Year's Eve .

On July 30, 2010, after a concert, she announced that she would retire from show business for health reasons. Their last concert was on September 26, 2010 in Amagasaki in the prefecture of Hyogo held shortly after the release of their eighth studio album, Last Scene on September 15, 2010. In August 2013, it changed its name to Rika Kakiuchi ( 垣内りか ). At the same time, she also started her dog-specialty shop called BonBon Copine. In late 2017, she told a TV show that she was the mother of a son. She came back into showbiz in 2018 as R with the single WARM PRAYER. The single NO FADE OUT followed only a little later. A fundraiser raised enough money to release the single Rise in 2019. On March 23, 2020, she released the album Ring for her 20th anniversary .
